Frequently Asked Questions

Is £4.99 really all I pay (plus the Companies House fee)?

Yes. The Digital package is £4.99 +VAT plus the £100 Companies House fee. There are no hidden charges and no mandatory add-ons. If you choose to add extras like same day formation or a registered office address, those are clearly priced and selected during checkout.

Do I need to provide a registered office address myself?

Yes. With the Digital package, you provide your own registered office address at Companies House. This must be a physical UK address (not a PO Box) where official correspondence can be received. If you don't have a suitable address and don't want your home address on the public register, our registered office and director service address add-ons solve this. Alternatively, Plus includes both as standard.

How quickly will my company be incorporated?

We submit your application to Companies House immediately after completing ID checks. Most applications are processed within 24 to 48 hours, though some are approved the same day. Processing times are set entirely by Companies House and are outside our control. If you need guaranteed same-day formation, add the Same Day Formation option at checkout and submit before 12pm on a UK working day.

What do I need to provide to register my company?

You'll need a company name, a registered office address, at least one director's details, and the share structure for your company. We guide you through all of this during checkout. It takes around 10 minutes and we check everything before it's submitted to Companies House.

Can I add services to my company later?

Yes. Once your company is formed, you can add individual services at any time. If you need a registered office address, director service address, or compliance cover, these are all available to add separately. Buying a package like Plus or Complete often works out better value than adding individual services one by one, but the choice is always yours.

What statutory obligations do I have after my company is formed?

Once formed, you'll need to file an annual confirmation statement with Companies House (due each year within 14 days of your company anniversary), file annual accounts, and submit a corporation tax return with HMRC. If you handle personal data, ICO registration is also required. Digital doesn't include compliance management. If you'd prefer these handled for you, Complete includes all of this.
