Data protection registration

After you register your new limited company, we can you with your UK data protection registration via our simple online process. We will assess your business type and advise whether data protection registration is required or not. Upon your approval, we will take care of the paperwork and forms and complete the entire data protection registration process on your behalf before obtaining your data protection registration number, usually within 30 days of application.

The UK Data protection Act 2018 is focused on implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation commonly known as “GDPR”. Individuals or organizations that collect or process personal data of individuals must follow certain rules called “data protection principles” that ensure the personal data is used lawfully and fairly.

How does it work?

If you collect or process your employee’s/client’s personal information, then you are required to notify the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under data protection law. Once registered, you will receive your company’s data protection registration number. You can also update the registration number on your website or other client documents to show your business credibility.

Note: Failure to register may result in a fine of up to £4000.

How can we help you?

To register for data protection, you have two options. Either you can directly register on Information Commissioner’s Office yourself or we can do it on your behalf.

If you want us to register, you can simply notify us during the online registration process. Our company formation specialists will complete the ICO’s registration self-assessment on your behalf.

If you are qualified then our specialists will complete the registration process, take care of the follow ups and ensure to send the registration number once received.

How much does it cost?

Our fee for data protection registration is £69 + VAT. We will review your business activities and if you do need to register then we shall do so on your behalf.

The £69+VAT include initial consultation PLUS £40 of Information Commissioner fee and so represents an excellent value for money.

Note: Data protection registration covers for 12 months and it must be renewed every year.
