Will my home address be visible on Companies House?

Not with Plus. Your registered office, director service address, and business address are all set to Mint's London address. Your personal address does not appear on the public Companies House register, the part anyone can search and view. If your home address is already showing from a previous filing, we can help you update it.

What's the difference between Plus and Complete?

Plus gives you formation and all three London addresses. Complete adds Mint Compliance Cover, which means we file your annual confirmation statement, monitor all Companies House deadlines, renew your ICO registration, and handle ad hoc filings at 50% off. If you want the compliance handled entirely, Complete is the right package. Plus is for founders who are confident managing deadlines themselves, or who already have an accountant on it.

Can I add compliance cover or accountancy later?

Yes. Once you're on Plus, you can add Mint Compliance Cover or accountancy services at any time. These are available to add individually, though taking Complete or Ultimate as a full package typically works out better value than adding services one by one.

How is mail handled with the London address?

Statutory mail (Companies House letters, HMRC correspondence) received at your registered office is scanned and emailed to you. General business correspondence to your business address is also scanned and emailed. Physical forwarding is available if required. Just ask. We don't open or read private correspondence.

Do I need to renew the address services each year?

Yes. The address services renew annually. We contact you well before the renewal date so nothing lapses without warning. Renewal rates are clearly stated upfront. There's no long-term contract and you can cancel at any time, though you'd need to update your Companies House address if you do.

Can I use the London address on my website and invoices?

Yes, for correspondence. You can display it on your website, invoices, email signatures, and marketing material. However, it is a mail-handling address only. It cannot be used for receiving large parcels or deliveries, and it is not open to visitors or clients in person. All letters and official correspondence received there are scanned and emailed to you.
